This is a scary enterprise for someone like me. I usually keep my opinions to myself. Some of you may wish I had continued to do so. Well, here I go.
Reflections on a New Year
This is the traditional time to look back and forward at the same time. How odd is that? What good will it do?
Odd? Very!
Any good? Looking won't do any good at all! You actually have to take action for any good to come from this very personal search. Therein lies the problem for most of us. If there is something in your life you wish to change you actually have to do something.
I don't presume to have all the answers. If you have an area of your life that needs improvement you already know what it is. Chances are you also already know what the answer is as well. I encourage you to be courageous and patient. Trying is not a guarantee of success. Not trying at all is a guarantee of failure. Be kind to yourself.
